Individual sessions are an hour in length and can be booked at any 15-minute interval. The sessions can be extended but it will require an additional fee and that is ONLY if it does not conflict with any other scheduled appointments or prior arrangements.
Yes, it can, however, we request that you do not use templates. Templates are pre-created documents that can be found online or within the Microsoft Word database. We prefer you send a document with everything as is. It makes it easier for our team to assist and get the revision back to you quicker.
Anyone can submit a request to become a panelist. We will evaluate what topics they may be suitable for and follow-up as needed. Note, we will not tolerate anyone to try to use the platform to put anyone down and we ask that anyone who does submit an inquiry to be on one of our panels, that they be open-minded and refrain from any racial, sexist, or slanderous conversations as that will not be tolerated.
Easy. We have options available for “one-time sponsorships” for either a particular topic or event data as well as sponsorship plans: Bronze, Silver, & Gold that incorporates various means to integrate your company or mission in our marketing and promotional material leading up to, during, and after the panel discussion(s). Please inquire to our marketing team for more information, prices, and plans.
No, we are not requiring at this time to pay to be part of a panel of IW. We definitely will accept any donations one may give and will utilize it to maintain the chat excellence and the team behind it running it. Though payment is not necessary to be a Panelist, if a panelist or potential panelist does donate to the cause, it will be noted the panelist will not be given any higher treatment than another person on the panel or our host Valerie Martinelli. If you want to promote your company or yourself, please refer to becoming a sponsor (see previous tab above).
We strive to have everything set one month (or at least 3 weeks) in advance. That way our marketing team has ample time to create graphics and relate them back to our host Valerie Martinelli for approval and to confirm what was submitted by all panelist: ie: bio, social accounts, titles, etc. is all correct before we launch any promotions. Besides a bio, social account links, titles, a headshot, a favorite quote, and 3 fun facts about the individual, there may be more or less depending on the topic at hand, the direction CEO Valerie Martinelli wants to go, etc. We may also request to answer one of the questions on video as a promo piece and/or write a blog that will be submitted to the IW Blog on Medium as post panel piece, all of which gives more substance to the social chat but also gives a lot more substance to you as a panelist.
Innovate Women does not discriminate. Innovate Women is a pro-women conversation and we like to tackle things that affect women today, but we most certainly encourage men to be panelists for our discussion. We have had all male panelists in the past.
Yes, they can. We typically recruit panelist for certain topics ahead of time but if they are more willing to be panelist under a topic they feel strongly confident in, the content arrangement team will work to select a month and time to expand on this topic with a panelist and will try to accommodate accordingly. Do note we do try to schedule topics for panels at least 2 to 3 months in advance so it may take some time to evaluate and adjust for a particular topic to become part of the calendar for Innovate Women.
Host Valerie Martinelli owns all rights to all things associated or connected to the Innovate Women brand and process. Though there is a team that runs Innovate Women, Valerie holds the full power to make changes as she deems necessary and ultimate has final say on who is approved as a panelist, topics, dates, times, branding, messaging, etc. Innovate Women is not for sale but again we have no problem with people making donations or becoming sponsors.
Payments, Cancellation & Privacy Policies, and Terms & Conditions
We understand that unavoidable circumstances arise and appointments have to be canceled or rescheduled. Remember, cancellation and/or rescheduling can be made 48 hours prior to your appointment. Please call us at 203.910.5093 during our regular business hours to cancel or reschedule your appointment if you are unable to do this through our online booking system.
VMC strictly protects our clients’ information and will not share your information without your knowledge and approval. Any information that used to create an account for VMC services can be accessed through your account at any time. Your data may be deleted at any time. Feel free to contact us if you have any concerns regarding your information or how it may be used.
As a condition of use, you may not use these Services for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms, or any other purpose not reasonably intended by VMC. By way of example, and not as a limitation, you agree not to use the Services:
1) To abuse, harass, intimidate, or impersonate any person
2) To post, transmit, or cause to be posted or transmitted any Content on our site or social media feeds that is libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, offensive, profane
3) For any purpose that is not permitted under the laws of the jurisdiction where you use the Services
4) To post Copyrighted material or Intellectual Property which does not belong to you
5) To create multiple accounts for malicious purposes
6) To promote or sell content that belongs to another person
7) To use any services or related programs, platforms, or VMC content in a way that is permitted by law in which you or the business resides
